About NEET Examination
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate (MBBS/BDS/Ayush Courses) every year.
As per Government of India, it is a mandated requirement to qualify NEET Exam to study medical courses in India and abroad.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET (UG), formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is an all India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS) and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India and also, for those intending to pursue primary medical qualification abroad.
NEET has only one attempt. The exam is conducted in offline mode. About 20 Lakhs students compete for 90K seats, half of which are in the private colleges.
